The Marquette Historical Historical Society is proud to announce our Methodist Episcopal Church (Museum) has been listed on the State Register of Historic Places.This came after two years of work by Jean Winther (Secretary of the Marquette Historical Society) and Art Cybul (Village of Marquette President). Jean Winther gave a wonderful presentation to the Architecture board of the Wiscosnin Historical Society, who unanimously voted in favor of the nomination.  The next step was to be reviewed by the entire board of the Wisconsin Historical Society and once again, we were unanimously accepted.  This is a huge honor for our little, beautiful church.  Thank you to representative Joan Ballweg for the letter she sent the board supporting our efforts.(Narrative and photos by: Renee Cybul & Rudy Winther)
